The Cairngorm National Park is the largest such park in the United Kingdom stretching from Grantown on Spey to Dalwhinnie.  The cornerstone of the park is the massive Cairngorm Mountain Range, which comprises of four peaks each over 1,200 metres high.

The remoteness of the Cairngorms allows golden eagles, ptarmigan, osprey and other rare species to thrive well away from mankind.

Contained within the boundaries of the park are elements of Royal Deeside including Balmoral Castle, some of Scotland’s most notable malt whisky distilleries and three popular ski-ing resorts.
