Where do the tours leave from?
Our
tours depart from City Centre locations in Edinburgh,Glasgow and Inverness.
Each is conveniently served by public transport and is a short walk from many
hotels and guest houses. The departure point of each tour is shown on the
relevant tour page.
What will the weather be like?
The
weather in Scotland can vary greatly from day to day, hour to hour and, often it appears, minute to
minute! It is wise to carry a waterproof jacket, just in case. And if
travelling in April or October it can sometimes be chilly so having a jumper
can be helpful.
What should I wear?
We
recommend you bring a waterproof jacket and walking shoes as we often make
stops when you can enjoy a stroll amongst our wonderful Highland scenery.
Do you accept groups?
Yes,
we are happy to accept groups on our tours. There are attractive discounts for
groups of 10 or more. We also offer dedicated coaches for larger parties.

Where do I get my tickets?
Book
on-line and you will receive a booking confirmation that you can print off as
your ticket. If you don’t have access to a printer don’t worry, just take a
note of the booking reference number to give to your driver.
Do you operate tours in winter?
Yes,
selected tours operate from Edinburgh and Glasgow throughout the year. Please
see the relevant tour pages for information.
What language are the tours in?
All
tours are conducted in English.
What is the minimum age?
Young
passengers are welcome on all the tours featured in
this website. Please check the tour webpage for the minimum age for participation as this varies. Children under the age of 3 are carried on the
Inverness
CityTour, Loch
Ness Temptation and
Loch Ness Passion tours/cruise tours at the applicable child rate.
What are the arrangements for food?
Meals
are not included in the price of the tour, where possible we make every effort
to ensure a range of meals and prices are available to our clients. In
particular you can be assured that we can tell you where to get vegetarian
options. Please let us know if you have any other dietary requirements and we
will assist where possible.
What is included in the price of
your tours?
The cost
of the tour covers your transportation and the services of a driver/guide. On
our multi-day tours the cost also includes your accommodation and breakfast
too. Unless otherwise stated admission charges are not included in the price of
your tour.
When should I book my tour?
We
would recommend that as soon as you have finalised your travel plans you
consider booking your tour.
How can I pay?
We
are happy to accept VISA and Mastercard Credit/ Debit cards.
Can I tip the driver/guide?
Offering
a gratuity for good customer service is always gratefully received!
I've missed my tour, can I get a
refund?
As with
any travel provider if you are not at the place of departure in time for the
tour then we cannot be held responsible. Full cancellation charges will apply. Please see our
terms and conditions for
details.
I need to cancel my tour?
Please
call or email us as soon as you can. Provided that we have the appropriate
notice in writing we will be happy to refund your money. If you are travelling
on a one-day tour you need to provide 72 hours notice. If you are travelling on
a multi-day tour the notice period varies. Please see our
