This fantastic tour showcases some of the most beautiful scenery Scotland has to offer. Enjoy an overnight stay by the banks of Loch Ness and on the enchanting Isle of Skye. See awe-some Glen Coe, picturesque Eilean Donan Castle and enigmatic Loch Ness.

Day One: Edinburgh/Glasgow - Glen Coe - Loch Ness

From Edinburgh, we head westwards to Glasgow then enter the scenic beauty of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There’s a stop in the little village of Luss where you can take time out to enjoy the spectacular views over Loch Lomond to the towering peak of Ben Lomond.

Next, we travel across the brooding expanse of Rannoch Moor. You'll be spellbound by the sinister beauty of Glen Coe when we stop to capture a souvenir photo before travelling to Fort William. This popular town has a long military history and has a scenic position overlooking Loch Linnhe.

Look out for imposing Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest mountain, as we journey through the magnificent scenery of the Great Glen and make for our overnight stop.

Overnight: Loch Ness/Inverness

Day Two: Exploring Skye

Today we head to the magical Isle of Skye, and on the way we pass the graceful Five Sisters of Kintail, a range of five mountains, four of which are over 3,000 feet high.

A real highlight is picturesque Eilean Donan Castle. Here you have the chance to take photographs and explore the castle that featured in the film Highlander. Then it's time to cross the bridge and start exploring the magical Island of Skye!

It's a relaxing day of touring, but you'll still see all the sights, such as the craggy Cuillin Mountains, the dramatic hills of the Quiraing and the outstandingly beautiful Trotternish Peninsula. There's plenty of time off the bus so you can savour the unique atmosphere of the island. After a day of fabulous sights, we make for our accommodation.

Overnight: Isle of Skye

Day Three: Isle of Skye - Loch Ness - Edinburgh/Glasgow

Good morning! After a restful nights' sleep, we awaken in our island surroundings. After breakfast, we return to the mainland and make for mysterious Loch Ness. Why not enjoy a cruise on the loch to see hauntingly beautiful Urquhart Castle, whose ruins overlook the deepest section of the loch. It’s a popular vantage point with Nessie spotters!

It's a short drive to Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands and sorrowful Culloden Moor. It was here that Bonnie Prince Charlie's Jacobite army was routed in a bloody-clash with the Government troops under the command of the Duke of Cumberland. The battle took place in 1746, and the consequences were so severe that it changed life in the Highlands forever.

Our route takes us through the stupendous scenery of the Cairngorms National Park then through the Grampian Mountains. We’ll stop in the heart of picturesque Highland Perthshire before returning to Edinburgh through the ancient Kingdom of Fife.

If you are returning to Glasgow, there is a stop at Edinburgh Waverley railway station from where there is a frequent train service to Glasgow. The train ticket is included in the tour price.

Tour Highlights: Loch Lomond, Glen Coe, Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glen Shiel, Eilean Donan Castle, Five Sisters, Isle of Skye, Portree, Cuillin Hills, Trotternish Peninsula, Loch Ness, Inverness, Culloden Moor, Highland Perthshire, Kingdom of Fife and Forth Bridge.
